Biography
Hello, my name is Alexandre and I am a visual artist.
I have been working full-time as an artist since 2015, but it was not always like this.
I grew up in Vila Real, in the north of Portugal, and that is where I started painting. I completed a master's degree in Veterinary Medicine and, after that, I had the opportunity to follow my path in the arts. Perhaps because I grew up in the countryside, landscape, optical phenomena and contemplation have been the main themes of my paintings. I now live and work in Porto.
