PREAMBLE

1. These general terms of sale are agreed between Alexandre Coxo, with address at Avenida Fernão de Magalhães, nº52, apartment 302, tax identification number 254 527 671 and contact +351 915264198, hereinafter referred to as “Alexandre Coxo”, and the persons who wish to make purchases through the website www.alexandrecoxo.com, hereinafter referred to as the “User”.

2. The parties agree that purchases made through the website www.alexandrecoxo.com shall be governed exclusively by this contract, to the exclusion of any conditions previously available on the website.

ARTICLE 1 – PURPOSE

These general terms of sale aim to provide and define all the information the User needs about how orders, sales, payment and the provision of services or delivery of purchases made on the website www.alexandrecoxo.com work.

These terms govern all the steps needed to place an order and ensure the follow-up of the order/service between the Contracting Parties.

The product photos shown should be considered merely indicative and should not serve as binding contractual material with the Customer, as they depend on lighting conditions, level of detail, photographic angle and other factors.

ARTICLE 2 – ORDERS

The User places an order by completing the purchase process on the website www.alexandrecoxo.com, adding the product(s) or service(s) they wish to order to the shopping basket.

To submit the order, the User must:

a) Complete the information and choose the options offered during the checkout process (delivery and billing address, shipping method, payment method, and the tax number and name to appear on the invoice for tax purposes).

Final confirmation of the order by the User amounts to full and complete acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the products/services available for sale, as well as of these General Terms of Sale, which shall be the only terms applicable to the contract thus concluded.

Alexandre Coxo will honour orders received online up to the limit of available stock.

If a product is unavailable, Alexandre Coxo undertakes to inform the User as soon as possible.

The details on the invoice are entirely the responsibility of the User. Once issued, the invoice cannot be reissued with changes.

Orders are valid for four days.

If payment is not received within that period, the order cannot be validated.

Any amount received after that date will be refunded or used for a new order.

ARTICLE 3 – PAYMENT METHODS

On the website www.alexandrecoxo.com, Alexandre Coxo offers the User the following payment methods: MB WAY and Debit/Credit Card.

With Debit/Credit Card payment (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover), the payment is processed securely by Stripe.

ARTICLE 4 – DELIVERY

Orders are delivered within 28 working days of order confirmation.

Delivery is made by CTT (Portuguese Post).

Any change in this regard will be notified by email.

The service will be provided after confirmation of payment.

For countries outside the European Union, orders are shipped CIP (Carriage and Insurance Paid); customs formalities and the payment of any duties or taxes (if applicable) are the User's responsibility.

ARTICLE 5 – PRICES

The prices shown are retail prices and include taxes (VAT in force on the date of payment of the order).

The amounts shown do not include shipping costs. Shipping is free within mainland Portugal. For all other destinations, the shipping cost per product will be shown at checkout, according to the following list:

Product delivered by download – free and immediate, through the link sent by email;
Large piece (80cm or more) – €100;
Medium piece (between 31 and 79cm) – €50;
Small piece (up to 30cm) – €20.

ARTICLE 6 – CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS

Cancellations and returns are handled case by case by Alexandre Coxo.

The request must be sent in writing to the contact email info@alexandrecoxo.com within ten working days of the order; instructions for cancellation, refund of the amount paid and/or return of the goods will be given and defined by Alexandre Coxo by the same means.

Whenever possible, refunds will be made using the same payment method; if this is not possible, the User must provide proof of payment and of ownership of the account or card so that the refund can be made by bank transfer.

Alexandre Coxo undertakes to refund the User within a maximum of 30 days.

We review every return case by case to determine who is responsible for paying the costs (shipping and customs) needed to return the artwork.

If the work is returned because the buyer decided to cancel the purchase, undamaged and following the communication process described above, the buyer is responsible for the return costs.

If we conclude that the artwork was damaged as a result of poor packaging or inadequate transport, the buyer will not be responsible for the shipping costs.

ARTICLE 7 – PRIVACY POLICY

Your data is processed in compliance with personal data protection legislation (EU Regulation 2016/679).

It will be stored in Alexandre Coxo's database and is used for order processing, after-sales communication and invoicing.

Providing it is necessary to conclude the sales contract, and you are guaranteed, under the law, the right to access, rectify and delete any data concerning you, in person or in writing (letter or email), directly at: Avenida Fernão de Magalhães, nº52, apart302, 4300-187 Porto or info@alexandrecoxo.com.

The data will be kept as a historical record of orders and will not be passed on to third parties or used for any purposes other than those mentioned in this section.

ARTICLE 8 – DISCLAIMER

By placing an order, the user declares that they are over 18 years of age and not legally incapacitated.

ARTICLE 9 – COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All works shown on this site are by the visual artist Alexandre Coxo, who retains all copyright and ownership rights.

If you wish to use any of the works, please contact the artist. You can do so through the form on the contact form.
